Official Results - Feb. 6th, 2010 2009 ICA Awards Dinner:
We held our 2009 Awards Dinner on Feb. 6th, at Ryan's Steak House in Greenwood, Indiana A big 'Thanks" to them for hosting our meeting. We had 25 people in attendance and dinner was paid for all by the ICA thanks to Ron Streeters work at the tournaments. Everyone grabbed a bite to eat and then we began about 1:30.
The ICA owes a big "Thanks" to our Treasurer/Secretary, Paul Meyer. He coordinated all the awards and prizes for our 2009 awards dinner. He got hold of some really nice jackets and had them embroidered for us. Paul deserves a cudos for all the behind the scenes work he does. He keeps the club running. "THANK YOU" Paul...
We started out by introducing the 2010 ICA officers and thanking our sponsors. Perry King of Kings Bait and Tackle and Ron Streeter of JES and Sons were on hand to enjoy the festivities. (photo - Ron on the left and Perry on the right). The best way for us to thank them is by getting our fishing supplies from them...
The president then read the 2008 to 2009 stats for comparison. In 2008 we averaged 11 boats that weighed a total of 303 catfish for a combined weight of 1675.3 pounds. In 2009 a 16 boat average weighed 375 catfish for a total weight of 2430.2 pounds. That is a great improvement all around and brings the ICA total weight to over 21,000 pounds weighed in since 1999.
The ICA then recognized all of our points tournament champions by awarding them certificates of their individual tournament wins.
