Cabela's King Kat:

The Indiana Catfish Association is proud to announce
that we are sanctioned by the Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail......

This means that we are able to send our top two points winning teams and our top two teams from each tournament to the King Kat Classic held every year. You may also qualify for the King Kat Classic by fishing and placing in any of the Cabela's King Kat qualifiers. The King Kat qualifying tournaments will have a guaranteed payback of $5,000.00 to the top 10% of the field. The 2008 King Kat Classic will be tentavely held on the Ohio River in late Sept. at Henderson, KY and will have a guaranteed purse of $60,000 in cash and prizes paid to 10% of the field. In the event the Classic Field is over 120 boats, payback will increase accordingly. (Example: A 200 boat field will raise the purse to $75,000.00 in cash and prizes). Also, new for 2008, You must fish/pay for a Cabela's Qualifier in order to fish the KingKat Classic. The closest Qualifier will be held at Madison on the Ohio River on Sept. 13th.

I spoke with Cabela's KingKat about securing an early boat release. When you qualify from your club, you may send your entry money for both the Qualifier and the Classic to help ensure the earliest boat release in both tournaments.

The ICA will send all eligibility paperwork to Cabela's. They will then send you your registration form in the mail. Just complete the form and send it to Cabela's along with your entry money, and your in the King Kat Classic! Those qualified for the 2008 King Kat Classic are listed below:
